We have a rose bush that is about 14 feet tall. Our front balcony sits about 7 feet off the ground. The petals were falling off the middle part of the bush. The lower and upper parts of the rose bush were unaffected. This was most perplexing to the wife.

The cause was finally identified when a naughty poodle with a nose for things that smell good was caught in the act.

Feral cats, marauding coons, and other nuisance fucking critters, are not. I promised my wife not to poison anything and she agreed on the following compromise. I got a humane trap and will catch these fuckers and release them 100 miles up north.
