What you're going through can become a sickness. While I now am down to 16 watches, I still have almost 70 straps on hand :(

Something else than those two, never liked ridged or shark skin straps... Get a carbon or plain leather ...

Now, let go' one of dem 70 in 22mm! ;)

Got lots in 20 and 24. Somewhat less in 18 and very very little in 22 as I only have 2 watches left (Zeno 47.5mm diameter 8563 A/SV GMT fitted with a Sirtoli croc strap and a Seiko SKX011J Orange dial diver that wears a Timefactors rubber strap) that take that size strap. I'm not counting my Sinn 142StS as its 22mm black bracelet is not one to be replaced by anything.

Hate the white stitching. Its too hot in Texas for cowhide anyway. Get a Tropic rubber strap, looks great and wears forever. I've got one on a Seiko and on a Seamaster pro that looks much better than your cowhide/sharkskin strap that's no doubt starting to rot/smell.

I can also offer advice on your lunch choices or travel destinations (as long as the travel is just from your computer). I am also an expert on regional sport biases and pro-gay-marriage agenda items. Or anything else that I can Google.

Quick snapshot of another watch I don't wear ....

http://www.fototime.com/D30D944725BBF7D/orig.jpg

Put the woven nylon (Kevlar ?) strap on this morning - the leather strap was clapped-out. Personally - I think the strap is too much for this watch. Will shop for a black shark with white stitching for the Aerospace similar to your first pics - just my preference for this watch.

However - I think this type of woven Kevlar strap would be great on the Yao/Seiko - they sure wear well (have one on my Omega Seamaster GMT - great combo there). May try one on my Yao someday soon.

J.

PS: I forgot how to set the "second hand" ;)

I forgot about them ! I had one in the early seventies for a sub.-non-date rolex. a real tropic strap though. I'm thinking of getting another now ; plus a tropic strap on your Yao would really look the best & wear the best. I forgot all about those.

Di-Modell strap - looks nice but I think the woven Kevlar with black stitching would be better. Not sure about the Hemp tho' ....

Thanks Rich .... for some reason I can't open your pics.

Never could warm to the newer italics. My biggest gripe is still the small crown and flippin' rider tabs - they hang-up on everything - really. ;)

Where do you buy those woven kevlar straps?

I might snag one for my Speedy.

From Howard Marx at Westcoasttime.com:

They are really nice and wear like iron. I also have the leather-backed versions for the non-sports watches - they are also a good choice.
