Dude you got no idea. That is probably the stupidest handgun caliber to date. Sometimes you just need a rifle.

I have a .480 Ruger Alaskan snubnose I got for Alaska fishing and it is a handfull but much smaller than the S&W .500. That thing is a boat anchor, you could pack a light rifle and have a better weapon. When something kicks so bad most folks can't hit the side of a barn with it.

Yea but it looks cool and it is loud... if I wanted an effective revolver I'd go for a .45 or a .357, I just want a cool one ;)

Albeit that gun exude very very cool factor - that gun will most likely kill the guy using it than the guy being shot at ;) :D

You really need a Freedom Arms 454 Casull

5 shots single action... kicks like a mule, very nice but... I'd rather have a S&W 686, 7 shots .357 :)

In that case, a smooth cylinder Model 27 has 8 shots. And it's a fuck bit nicer than a 686.

Yea, if you have to squat to piss..otherwise the .454 Casul all the way!

The model you are referring to is the 627, not the 27... The 627 is very nice but if I am to go for 8 shots might as well have a compact canon and get a 327 just cause I am nuts :)

The Model 27 is part of the classic line-up and has a fluted barrel and it is a regular 6 shots... Now that 627 is really nice, but the barrel is about an inch too long for my taste that's why I'd go for the 2" ass kicking mule ... but that won't be accurate past one meter! ;)

627 from the performance shop... Fucking "A" nice but shorten that barrel by an inch plu-ease...

The regular 627 with a 4" barrel which is perfect is actually the revolver I'd go for if I was looking for an 8 shot revolver...

327 (That's a bastard of a gun if you ask me...) Makes for a kick ass backup when push comes to shove now if only the hammer was covered like the Centennial or Bodyguard AirWeight that 327 could be a winner in terms of self defense little gun, as is... Anyone can put a finger or some skin to stop the trigger action...

And the 27... Not too shabby IMHO... But yea that 8 shot 627 sure is nice

it is not a Colt Python but...

And you gotta admit that the 686 has a very nice balance to it compared to all of the above guns...
