are they worth the price ? Brad's post got me thinking about them. I had a genuine tropic for my sub. non-date in the early 1970's and really liked it. I checked on ebay starting bid for "new old stock" 24.50 something like that.

Be careful. The quality seems to be all over the place. I have about 3-4 pairs of these things and some are cheap @$$ Shenzhen clones, others not-as-cheap HK clones, and others appear to be the real vintage deal.

I bought about 7 of them 5-7 years ago from a guy who advertised all the time on TZ. Mine were the real thing and the only strap I would wear. I got some of the curved lug ones and they look the best. All of mine are the classic Tropic strap with the herringbone type pattern and small holes.

thats what I thought, but needed validation. I always thought the tropic was even better than the bracelet. what kinda price should I be loking for. really appreciate it !!
